The Adverb 都(dōu)
The word 都 indicated inclusiveness. As it always occurs in front of a verb, it is classified as an adverb. However, because it refers to something that has been mentioned earlier in the sentence, or in a preceding sentence, it also has a pronoun-like flavor and it must be used at the end of an enumeration.
Ex) 他和我都有一个妹妹。
没 is always used to negate 有. However, to say "not all of ... have", we say 不都有 rather than 没都有. Whether the negative precedes or follows 都 makes the difference between partial negation and complete negation.
Ex) 他们不都是中国人。= Not all of them are Chinese.
他们都不是中国人。= None of them are Chinese.
